As a design educator, I am driven by the belief that design is not just a creative skill but a powerful instrument for social change. My work focuses on inspiring young people to engage critically and imaginatively with the world around them, empowering them to envision and implement solutions that positively impact their communities. I see community-based educational initiatives as fertile ground for social design projects—spaces where learning, research, and practice converge to create tangible, meaningful outcomes.
Through these projects, I encourage students to explore the intersections of creativity, empathy, and responsibility, fostering a mindset where design is understood not only as a form of expression but as a mechanism for addressing real-world challenges. These experiences form the foundation of my RESEARCH and DESIGN practice, allowing me to continually investigate how design can effect social transformation while mentoring the next generation of socially conscious designers.
